Do you have certain clothing items you tend to gravitate toward over and over again? I have a weakness for striped shirts, fit-and-flare dresses and pencil skirts. My friend Melissa apparently shares a similar affinity for pencil skirts, and a few weeks ago, she decided she was going to wear one every day for a week, trying to style it differently every time.
As you can see, she succeeded beautifully. Her outfits show why both of us like this style of skirt so much — they are so versatile and work with all different types of tops/shoes, they can be dressy or casual, and you don’t have to just stick to plain black.
Anyway, after she was done, she challenged me.
As you might be able to tell, the weather was a little wacky that week. It went from cool to hot and rainy to cold. I also ended up doing a ton of walking a few days, so I couldn’t wear heels. But I think I did OK.
